For our ending compilation of photos, we were required to have a glass photograph, so this is what I ended up with. This is a candle holder, open side down, covering a snail shell on black plexi-glass. I liked how the majority of the frame is actually the reflection of the glass piece. I used alien bees in studio, with diffusion panels surrounding the glass, and about 67.3 Gobos or other modifiers all through-out.

absolutely beautiful. your control of reflections and lighting choices are great, as always.
I love this photo. Very nice lighting on the glass. Good soft light on the shell. Great job!
The control you had is awesome. That could easily be one of the worst things I can think of to do for that assignment (glass + shell w/ detail) but you did a very good job. 67.3 must have been the lucky number. Very nice. And the composition is interesting as well. To be honest, it was a little hard for me to see it as subject + reflection. But that's good.
