Macro: 1st attempt

This was one of my first attempt shots for our macro-photography course. I used the pb-6 bellows, two extension tubes, and the 105 mm micro lens. In all, there was 280.5 mm of extension. I set up the butterfly with a blue piece of foam board behind, which had white spots on it. I was attempting to have the sky look as if it had clouds in it.

you never disappoint, I love it. of course the focusing and detail is great and all, but i really like that you didn't forget everything we learned about composition. rule of thirds always pulls it off. great job

Howington, nice! I love how his little arms (?!) are folded and it seems like he's looking right at the lens. Interesting composition, too.
